Cancellation Policy

We confirm appointments 24 hours prior to your appointment, via text or email. As a courtesy to staff and other clients, we ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule please let us know when you receive your appointment reminder.

We do require a credit card to reserve appointments with the nurse injectors. You will not be charged, unless the appointment is a no show, then a $50 charge will be applied to your card.

 

Running Late

We will do all we can to accommodate your treatment. Sometimes appointments will need to be rescheduled due to our schedule, or we can shorten your treatment time.

 

What time Should You Arrive

If you are a first time client we ask that you come 10-15 minutes ahead of your scheduled treatment. We have a health history form that you need to complete prior to your treatment.

 

Parking

There is ample parking outside Begin with Skin MedSpa. Our entrance is up on the elevated stone platform, the left door with the sign Begin with Skin. We are on the second floor. If you need help, we have an automated chair, please call us at 978-455.6800 prior to your appointment.

 

What if I have allergies and special medical conditions?

Please disclose all allergies on your Health History Form and to your provider. If you have physical limitations please let us know and we will make every effort to accomodate you.

Begin with Skin Med Spa is open daily by appointment except Sunday. If you need to come in for products or questions please call us first at 978-455-6800.

 

Pregnancy

At Begin with Skin we ask that all clients who are pregnant provide a letter from treating physician for clearance for skincare treatments. All skincare treatments are modified, as we can not use any peels or devices during pregnancy.

 

Children

Although we love them, we ask that they stay in the waiting area. For their safety, we can not allow children under the age of 12 in laser room or aesthetic treatment area. We will treat children ages 13 and older with parental consent.

 

Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your product purchases. If you are unhappy for any reason we will exchange or return your product within 30 days of purchase.

 

How do I prepare for my treatment?

Various Begin with Skin treatments have contraindications that we take seriously. Please review the following contra-indications for the treatments below.

If you are having any laser facial treatments:

  • You must not have an active tan or burned skin
  • Can not be pregnant or nursing
  • Have not used Accutane within the past year
  • Are not on any prescription Retinol

 

Laser Hair Removal

  • Skin should be shaved
  • Skin should not have an active tan.

 

If you are having Microneedling or Microdermabrasion:

  • Can not be pregnant
  • Have not used Accutane within the past year.
  • No prescription Retinol
  • Do not have an active burn on the skin
  • Have not had an recent peels or facial surgery
  • No active cold sores or fever blisters

 

If you are having a facial peel:

  • Can not be pregnant
  • Have not used Accutane within the past year.
  • No prescription Retinol
  • Do not have an active burn on the skin
  • Have not had an recent peels or facial surgery
  • No active cold sores or fever blisters

 

*Some facials include ultrasound, please be advised that any cardiovascular disease, pregnancy, pacemaker, diabetes, or autoimmune condition are contraindications.

 

If you are having a Celluma LED treatment:

  • Do not have an active burn on the skin
  • Are not any skin sensitizing medications
  • No active cold sores or fever blisters.
